Not sure exactly where this one came from, but playing twangy, country-ish guitar is fun. I wrote this before I saw Sturgill Simpson at a show in Norfolk, but seeing him and how killer his band is (his guitar player is an absolute beast and makes me want to quit (Sturgill is really good on guitar as well)), gave me the confidence to explore this idea. If you can see a Sturgill show, do so. Also another of my favorite bands, My Morning Jacket, goes a bit twangy at times, so... there's that.

This song has been mixed and mastered by Ilya Karmanov. His abilities far outweigh mine in this regard. Thank you Ilya! I recommend anyone who wants their stuff to sound better to hit him up. He is professional and responsive.
